The Economic Development teams work with local businesses and organisations to increase the prosperity of the area.  Together we provide a range of support services including:

• Business Information pack – a free pack containing information about the local area and the economy, with contact details for other local support organisations.
• Business Directory – a directory of around 3000 local businesses in the Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and East Dorset area.  Available in hardcopy, on CD and on our websites.
• Property Search – a free online property search facility covering the whole of Dorset.
• Bournemouth4Business – search online for grants and funding available locally, nationally or across Europe.
• Start-up training – free start-up training is available through Business Link.
• International trade events – subsidies are available to local companies who wish to attend Partenariat matchmaking events.
• Grants and tendering seminars – free advice sessions are available to companies looking to win national and European grants and tenders.
• Mentoring – one-to-one business mentoring is available free to new businesses through Dorset Business Mentoring (Dormen).
