The region is centrally located on the south coast of England with direct national rail connections from Weymouth, Dorchester, Poole and Bournemouth and a travel time to London of approximately 2 hours. Bristol, Exeter and Plymouth are also served and there are direct services to Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
